Emerging device technology for neuromorphic computing

Active research has been done on fabrication and characterization of nonvolatile memory devices utilizing emerging materials for neuromorphic device applications. In this presentation, a strategy toward designing of high-performance memory devices utilizing emerging materials will be discussed. Additionally, neuromorphic computing has attracted much attention due to its power-efficient data processing. To realize efficient neuromorphic hardware systems, the development of reliable and robust neuromorphic devices is essential. In this presentation analog memory characteristics using emerging memory devices for neuromorphic device applications will be discussed in detail.
